What a amazing day for KinderWorld at Bazaar Charity!
Monday, 30 December 2013 08:19

Dear Parents and Students

Many teachers and staff in KIK and SIS schools worked with our marketing team to join the Annual Bazaar Charity Day at UNIS campus in Hanoi. This event was exciting and colourful with musical performances, art, games for children and booths from many countries selling souvenirs and foods. All funds collected were for charity.
Our marketing team and teachers presented at SIS’s booth early in the morning to decorate and prepare the booth.

At 10.00 am, the organizer announced the official opening and thousands of parents and children spread all over the fair site. At our booth, we held Face Painting and Pasting Shape games which were huge attractions to a lot of children. Students queued up for the games and were impatient to wait for their turn. Our teachers had to work so hard for the activity they were handling, especially face painting but they were very happy after each face finished with their favorite chosen design such as batman, tiger, lion, butterfly, snake and flower.

Ms. Jeanette, our Supervisory Principal, Ms. Susanne and Ms. Estelle – Principal of SIS @ Van Phuc and KIK @ The Manor also came to visit our booth to support and encourage us during the event. Many current parents and parents who were intending to send their children to international schools also stopped at SIS’s booth for their child’s game. Our admission staff talked with parents about enrolment information for school year 2014-2015, study pathway at Singapore International Schools and SIS Super School at Gamuda Garden City to be open soon. Parents were very interested in the new super school and its state of the art facilities.

At the end of the day, Funds collected during our activities allowed us to donate to Operation Smile to bring Vietnamese children with congenital defects, a smile the same as other children.

We sincerely thanks the Organizer to support Singapore International School joining the this Bazaar Fair, all staff of SIS to coordinate and run the program and special thanks to parents and students for visiting Singapore International School’s booth and experinced wonderful moments. We wish you all healthiness and happiness and will see you next Bazaar 2014.
